The multi-talented movie star’s latest venture is a photography book
Writer, producer, director, actress, winemaker, beauty baron and now photographer-cum-publisher: there aren’t enough slashes in the world to cover Drew Barrymore’s accomplishments.The latest arrow in Barrymore’s overstocked quiver has a distinctly cupid bent. She’s creating a book of heart-themed photography. She has been shooting hearts for over a decade, the title Find It In Everything will showcase this passion. It’s going to include captions explaining each of her images and will be published by Little, Brown and Company.
In a release to the press Barrymore said of the project: “I have always loved hearts. The way one continuous line accomplishes the most extraordinary thing – it conveys love. Hearts are my beacons. I love them man-made and natural, young and old. Whenever and wherever I see the heart shape, a smile spreads across my face. The heart has an unbeatable romance when you discover one where you least expect it.”
Coming from anyone but Drew, we’d be a little sceptical, but Barrymore could collaborate with Ken Done on a series of musical hub caps, and we’d be keen to see how it turned out.
